About
The goal of GDS is to facilitate the building of strong foundations in young men and women so that they can be all that God has called them to be, and do all that God has created them to do. We desire to see men and women run their race before God faithfully until the finish, unbending and unturned from what God has called them, receiving at the finish the Crown of Life.
Apart from our classroom curriculum, students will be provided with practical outlets where they can put into practice the truths learned during their stay with us. We believe that in addition to study, service and prayer are essential aspects in the development of each believer.
Also students will have the opportunity to serve in a variety of ministries such as the CCLF men’s ministry, women’s ministry, children’s ministry, the after school club, and other additional opportunities that present themselves in the community.
At GDS we take Jesus’ example of ministry very seriously and note that he spent close, personal time with his disciples for intentional mentoring. Our desire is to reproduce this aspect of ministry at the school. Personal mentorship of the students will be provided for by school staff as well as by individuals in the local church.
To further facilitate their discipleship, students will be housed with families in the church. This creates a wonderful opportunity to learn and to build healthy relationships with other generations.
Dates and Finances
Each school runs from September to the end of March, and generally has an optional missions trip in April.
Tuition is $2500 for the year, which includes room and board.
